2011 Summer Camp Blitz Camp

Camp Blitz is excited to offer another football camp. This camp is going to offer kids football instruction in a variety of areas emphasizing speed development as well as technical skills taught by former NFL players as well as some of the best coaches in the valley. Developing speed, learning positional techniques while having a great time will be the emphasis of this camp. As always with Camp Blitz, character will be emphasized in each and every player. Don’t miss out on this opportunity prior to the start of the fall season.

When:
Session 1: Monday – Thursday; July 18th-21st
Session 2: Monday – Thursday; July 25-28
Time – 6 to 8 pm (check in between 5:30-6:00)
Ages – 8 to 14 years old with all different skill levels
Cost - One session (either session) $100
or both sessions $190

Speed Camp 2010

Thankyou to all who attended Camp Blitz’s first speed camp. What a success and great time had by all. Special thanks to John Skelton and Jason Wright for coming out and talking to the kids about what it takes to be successful not just on the field , but in life and how to push yourself to reach your goals. Camp Blitz is happy to announce that John Skelton of the Arizona Cardinals and Jason Wright will be appearing at Camp Blitz’s speed Camp on Dec. 20-22 . This is going to be an amazing opportunity for young athletes to increase their speed and overall core strength. Camp Blitz’s speed camp will focus on improving explosive strength, acceleration, footwork and balance and coordination.

Camp Blitz is excited to offer “Camp Blitz Yuma”. Camp Blitz is Arizona’s premier youth football camp conducted by former NFL players Travis Brown (QB – Colts) and Todd McMillon (CB – Bears). This camp is going to offer kids football instruction in a variety of areas taught by former NFL players as well as some of the best coaches in the state. This camp will offer top quality position specific instruction as well as character lessons for all aspects of life. The End of Summer Training Camp

This was the first annual Summer Training Blitz and what a adventure it was. Spending two weeks with the campers gave us the opportunity to really get to know the talent and character of the kids. We thought that we would be doing all the teaching but were blessed to really be inspired by the drive and determination of some of our youth. First week kicked off with a focus on offensive skills. Each station at the football camp was set up to improve offensive technique and agility.The second week was defensive week, where participants moved through drills that covered different defensive positioning and taught coverage techniques used by the pros. Summer Camp Kick Off

Tonight was the first night of our Summer Blitz and we had a great turnout. It was HOT but all our campers came prehydrated and ready to play. Camp Blitz is thrilled to announce that we will be providing Arizona’s youth with the opportunity to participate in a two week camp from July 19 thru July 29th which focuses on offensive and defensive training that will increase agility and speed on the field. Off the field we promote the core values of leadership and what it means to be a team player. Although we encourage our campers to sign up for the full two weeks you will have the opportunity to sign up for just one week. The camp will be held at CCV.
